opps, sorry, i could cause cancer....

remember those goofy elidel stickers i got from my dermatologist, with the super hero who was supposed to fight excema? this guy? well, it turns out that they announced today that elidel may increase your risk for cancer and gave it a black box warning, which is the highest warning that can appear on drugs in the u.s. awesome. kim and i had already found this out online when i started using elidel, and even though it's very very unlikely that using it short term could put me at risk for cancer, i still stopped using it right away. it didn't really seem to be working, plus i prefer and have been treating my excema naturally, to much greater results than with any of the perscriptions my dermatologist threw at me (which seemed to be her prefered method of treating it). i'm still really upset about how abrupt she was with me and how little she seemed to care about informing me about anything. she was honestly the worst doctor i have ever been to and i will never go back to her.
