sleep i must

another good day, as most days that i don't work are. jay is sick, which is no good, but i enjoy taking care of him. maybe i'll put poison in his soup so he'll stay sick, and i can take care of him forever!!!!!!!!!
i got two new pairs of pants today at j. crew (who knew?) and we had a tasty breakfast/lunch at brueggers. that place is so good! chrissy marasco used to work at the one in washington back in the day, but i don't remember ever eating there.
i took a drive through good shepherd cemetary by myself. it's very beautiful at dusk; i'll have to take some photographs there at some point. i really want to get back into 35mm photography, but it's so expensive and tedious now that i have a digital camera. but i love the suprise of getting prints back and not knowing what they're going to be exactly and how they're going to turn out. plus i like the grain and texture of film rather than the awful pixalated look you sometimes get with digital.
beth and joel came over and helped clean up last night's mess (thanks guys!) and mike, james and kim came over and we watched the fascinating, spellbinding, heartbreaking, soulshaking, mindblowing grizzley man. that was a bit of an over the top description (a bit?!?!) but it is a really great film. the first time i saw it, i was completely mesmerized and thought of it constantly for the following days.
we followed that up with another herzog film, at least one he stars in, incident at loch ness, which i also love.
then eat and park with beth james and kim and home where i am now, and bed where i soon shall be.
good times all around.
