cccccccrrrraaaaaaaaaaaazzzzziiiiiiiiiinesssssss!!!!!!!!!
hmmm, maybe that was a little extreme, but there are two crazies that i am refering to.
1) my weekend thus far. the only plans i had on friday afternoon were to go see a movie by myself today and hopefully see teresa at some point. here's what i ended up doing: friday went to see my gram with my mom and beth and played with her insane jack russel terrier, abby, then went to borders by myself for a bit. ate some spinach pizza with beth while the boys played their instruments and sang in the basement. after they were done with practice, i was talked into going to the cutting edge with them all, plus mia, beth, and megan. had a great time there. then beth and i decided to post some of her worthlessburger drawings around town. we did that from about 2am till 4am. i took some photos and had fun. went to bed.
sat-got up around 11, and fiddled around on the computer for an hour or so until i got a text message from little ashley. went out with her to the mall and had lunch. ran into aaron and kristin. drove ashley home, went back to monroeville for sushi with james and kim. went back to the mall and ended up talking to amy at chick fil a for an half an hour or so. then had vin, bekah, james and kim over. we talked about WWI and WWII. we were later joined by james' brother steve and his friend, parrish, ninehouser, jason, joel, and beth. after they attempted to play d&d for a bit and bekanator and i had a heart to heart, we headed out to india garden, only losing vin on the way. parrish loved the indian music videos (how can't you?) and aaron looked like he was going to pass out (he's on painkillers) . we got free cheesecake. then bekah left and the rest of us went back to our place again for some more attempts at d&d while most of us passed out. everyone went home around 3am. i stayed up coughing, writing a story, and finished my book of short stories i was reading. i could go into way more detail about each of these events, but look how much i already wrote! holy crap how did i do so much in two days! it was all wonderful though and made for two fantastic weekends in a row.
2) the other craziness is all this football business. pittsburgh is insane. everywhere you go, everything is black and gold and football themed. everyone is wearing steelers gear i know the superbowl is a big deal and all, but i think it is a little ridiculous when the weather report on friday is almost exclusively about detroit's weather with a mention of the snow we may get here. still, i have to admit, it's kind of nice that it brings most of the people in the city together. too bad we can't get this excited and have this sense of community over something real.
and that is that.
