yesterday was a very nice day. i went to see two movies, wallace and grommit and the curse of the were-rabbit, which was tons of fun, and corpse bride, which was also pretty good. i may write reviews of them on our movie page. i went to the dollar theater in west mifflin and didn't get lost getting there and on the way back, i missed one of my roads, so i had to forge a new path home, which i did suprisingly well. i hung out at home for a while after that, then decided i needed to eat so got a veggie dog and some fries at dee's. i know the idea of a veggie dog may sound gross to some, but you should try out dee's sometime-so so soooo good! you definitely can't tell that it's not meat except for the fact that you don't get god-what-did-i-just-eat stomach afterwards. beth came over for a bit and told me crappy stuff about work. it sounds like things aren't going too well. i don't think it's necessarily because i quit, but i was a peacemaker between day and night crew and i did have a lot of responsibilities. things were also falling apart right before i left, people were coming to the end of their ropes and other people seemed to be becoming incredibly unreasonable. i'm so glad i'm out of there. i feel bad for beth and i really hope she can find something else really soon.
james, beth, mike, and brian came over around 12 and we hung out and talked for a good while. beth and james stayed almost until 5am. we talked about careers and traveling. i really enjoyed myself. i missed staying up late and talking to friends the last few years. jay and i were talking about how for our first year of marriage we hardly ever had friends around and how nice it is now to have the option of doing most nights if we want to. we were so lonely before. so thanks guys for being our friends!
i have lots to do today so i'm off to do it all!
