like whoa!

i am over at my parents' house going through the last bit of my stuff that is here and i just found all my mementos from my year in oakland. here is a picture one of the girl's from the afterschool program colored for me:

i have been feeling super nostalgic recently...pictures, old journals, old music...everything. it's a nice feeling to reflect on the past and always so suprising to see how much i have changed in so many ways, but also remained the same too. i just looked through one of my old journals and didn't cringe at what i wrote, as i had suspected i would.

i helped jason out at cvs today. their inventory is this week so i am doing some simple monotonous things they don't have time to do. it's nice to help jay out (and make a little extra cash). the best part is listening to music while i work...i think that might have to be a critera for my next job. page france makes the time go so fast.
