yesterday was a true delight of a day. i went to a church rummage sale, went walking on the trails in frick park, had soup and did a little grocery shopping at the food co-op, talked to an indian lady who was trying to sell me some clothes and a bike, cleaned, drank too much wine, and got ready for the flea market which was today.

today however, has not been very nice. i had to get up at 5:30 to get jason to work and get set up for the flea market by 7am. that all went pretty smoothly, and within the first half hour of the sale i made back the $5 it cost for a table. unfortunately, it got very very cold. i made the mistake of wearing flip flops and not the warmest of clothes, but i thought i could last it out. i only had four hours to go. then it started to rain. luckily i had remembered to bring a tarp, but my stuff got wet anyway, as did i. then it stopped for a little bit-just long enough to get my hopes up. when i couldn't feel my feet and my back was spasming in pain from the cold, i decided to call it quits. now i have a carful of stuff i don't want and feel like i wasted a big chuck of time pricing stuff that's just going to goodwill and standing in the rain shivering. awesome.
