it's 4:05 AM....

the wind is tearing at the plastic jason used to cover our windows and the rain is coming down in torrants. we could use some thunder and lightning, but this looks like it's just going to be one of those really hard rains. we used to have terrible storms in north carolina. during the worse storm i have ever experienced, a big oak tree was uprooted in our front yard and our vcr exploded. we didn't have power for three days. in california, there is rarely a thunderstorm. once driving through oakland at night, we heard a little rumbling , which i was told was quite uncommon for that area.
the rain has now stopped, and i am going to bed.
