blaghhhhh!!!!!

so last night was a night of mishaps and misfortunes. first, jason and i went to meet aaron and krsitin for dinner at india garden. after waiting 20 or so minutes, i called him and found out that they were at india garden in oakland. sigh. we ordered an appetizer and left. then we went to my parents to finally pick up nico (who i found out today has worms. great.) and he would not come with us. he kept hiding and finally, took off for the basement. so nico hates us. then we got home and started watching wedding crashers. jason and i had high hopes for this since we love owen wilson and christopher walken. everyone said it was so funny. no. it wasn't. we only laughed in disbelief at how unfunny it was. it got turned off about halfway through. i know this probably makes us out to be a couple of movie snobs. we aren't, i promise. we do appreciate good cinema and most of our dvd collection is comprised of less mainstream films BUT we will willingly watch and enjoy a movie that is not critically acclaimed and that is enjoyed by the majority of the population. and last night, we completely wanted to watch something fun and easy to watch, which is what we thought we were getting with wedding crashers. nope.

then jason wanted to go to bed, but he wanted me to come with him so we brought the tv and dvd player into the bedroom to watch red eye. well, the thing that you place your dvds into was out when we moved it and as i ran to get the remotes which we had forgotten in the livingroom, i ran into it and somehow knocked it out of the player. we tried for a good while to fix it, but it seems to be done. fantastic. and of course, today i really want to watch movies. i can't even watch them on my laptop for some reason. add to all of that, that i have yet to receive my unemployment check and we are completely broke.

basically, my life is awesome.
