today we took the summer camp kids to a pirates game. it was the first time i'd ever been to the new stadium. i actually enjoyed myself. the little girl who sat next to me was adorable; she didn't know much about baseball but she was all about watching the game and knowing what was going on . so i had to pull out my limited baseball knowledge and try to explain things to her. i liked it. the pirates won, they were on a record setting losing streak but manged to pull through and win by a run in the 9th inning. we actually didn't stay for the whole game-we had to get the kids back-but i cared anough to check out the final score when i got home.
