yesterday completely made up for thursday. it was i don't think there was one lick of badness in it besides the sticky weather. i had lots of fun with the kids. nothing very notable, just a good day. and afterwards i met up with some of the conselors for dinner which made me so happy, especially considering my hopeless feelings of the day before. one of the fringe benefits of working with kids is that most of the people who enjoy children are really fun nice people themselves.

after that i hung out with joel, mike, and jason. we ate mexican food and quoted movies. i fell asleep for the end of waiting for guffman, which suprisingly mike had never seen. earlier mike had shown us some comics online. here is a sample:



i'm not sure how funny they are on there own, but this morning when i read all of them by myself i was very amused. you can check them out here.

it's funny how there is some humor that is alone humor and some that is group humor. for instance, i think salad fingers when viewed with others but creepy when you're by yourself, which i believe beth may have already said.
