Saturday Beth and I went to the community yard sale in Regent Square. I liked it better than a huge flea market because everything isn't in one place, you had to walk or drive around to find the yards and porches that were having sales. Among the many little finds Beth and I purchased this, which reminds me of Darger's Vivian Girls, was probably my favorite:



It's a card table tablecloth and the woman who I bought it from said her aunt made it. She said "We used to sit and play cards for hours. We had so much time before there were computers to sit at all day. We'd have whole afternoons to do nothing but play cards and talk."
