fruit bat!

i fell in love with fruit bats at the seattle zoo this summer. they had an incredible nocturnal animal display and the crowning exibit was these guys. i prefer them alive, but even their skeletons are awesome.

today was nice. i slept in until noon and didn't even feel bad about it. then i watched several episodes of alfred hitchcock presents and didn't feel guily about that either. i spent the rest of the afternoon online. beth brought nico back over (he had a sleep over with bo and henri) and i told her nice things. i'm realizing that i often feel bad about "wasting time" and being "unproductive" on my days off, but i'm trying to get back to a place where i allow myself to have time when i can breathe and relax.

i went to the cheesecake factory for the first time tonight with jeremi and aaron. their menu is as big as a phonebook...well not quite... but they do have a decent sized menu, although they make it look even bigger by putting advertisments on every other page. what is that? it's like the stupid comercials that are on before the trailers at the movies. but the food was quite good. i had 1 and 1/2 too many glasses of wine and became very silly and gigglely. aaron and i went back to my apartment and hung out with beth, james, and jason and watched kicking and screaming which was suprisingly pretty funny.

now i am going to bed. goodnight : )
