Angel food cake and pound cake are completely different from shortcake. Ridiculously different. There's no way you could make the mistake if you've ever had actual shortcake. Even more offensive is to try to pass off ordinary white cake or one of those god awful yellow sponges often sold in the produce section next to the strawberry display as shortcake. Shortcake is a biscuit that is crumbly and a little salty and perfect. Stop trying to pass off this other crap off as "strawberry shortcake" because you are lying and this lie causes a great deal of lost respect from the shortcake loving population.
